I get a lot of pleasure and relaxation from making things out of wood and I have made  many different things but my favorites are keepsake boxes in the shape of treasure chests.  I have made quite a number of them but I think this one is the best I have ever done.  It is made entirely of wood but it is covered with genuine cowhide leather.  But that is only one of the things that make it unique.  All of my others have key-opening locks but this one has concealed, keyless entry!!  On the inside is a tray made of aromatic cedar. Behind an aromatic cedar panel in the lid is a nice little hidden space.  It measures 10″ long by 6″ tall and 6″ wide.  The handles and feet are made of black walnut.  This would be the ideal gift for that very special person because there is not another one quite like it anywhere and never will be.  The very modest price of $165.00  will include the etching of a  dedication and/or name on the panel in the lid with a woodburning tool.  If you would like to get this unique gift for someone very special in your life please click on “comments” below leave a message in the comments box.

With kind thoughts,  AuthorJim

About authorjim

I grew up in the country near a small Montana town, I have spent a lot of time in the outdoors, working, fishing, hunting and camping but have always been interested in mechanical and electrical things. Most of my life has been spent in the use, care and repair of things mechanical, electrical an electronic. After being retired for several years, I began writing and published my first novel at the age of 79. Now, at the age of 82, I have recently published my fourth noveland it is available from me or from the pulisher or book distributor.
