A clean environment with clean water is all that Wes wanted so his anger was instantaneous and intense when he found that the sheepherder had let his flock overrun the campground and foul the stream. When the herder made the mistake of adding an insult to the damage he had done, Wes quickly gave him a lesson in attitude. Wes Shearer leaves no doubt that he is a man in control and definitely not a man to antagonize. Watching Wes handle this situation teaches young Wesley Taylor one of the many lessons he will learn during his association with his older namesake. This is only one of many tense and exciting episodes that you can read about in the book “Marty’s Town” by Jim Fuller. For more information about this book go to BOOKS by JIM FULLER.
